What you will experience

On this evening tour, you drive your own dog sled through the dark Pasvik Valley, with a chance to see the Northern Lights. The group is small, with a maximum of 4 guests.

We will pick you up in Kirkenes and drive about 40 minutes to Hannah and Eirik's kennel. When you arrive, the dogs and sleds will be ready.

You will receive a short safety briefing and learn how to steer and brake. Hannah and Eirik will drive the first part of the trail, so you can get used to the dogs and the terrain. Then you can drive most of the trip yourself, with one of them in the sled helping you.

If the Northern Lights appear, we will stop so you can watch and take pictures. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and can never be guaranteed.

Back at the kennel, you feed the dogs, cuddle with them, and help get them into their kennels. Finally, we warm up by the fire with hot drinks and something to eat.

Would you rather sit? By arrangement, you can choose "Sit Back & Relax." The dog handler will steer and you will be the passenger.
