BIRK is located next to the Pasvik River, which separates Norway and Russia, about 55 km south of Kirkenes.

Birk offers accommodation in both cabins and a lovely guesthouse. This was an ordinary house that has been converted, has 7 rooms - no two are alike. The rooms are relatively small, but give our guests a good rest in scenic surroundings.

Our guesthouse has 7 rooms, 2 located on the first floor and 5 on the second floor. All rooms are different in terms of design and size. The rooms are named after Trine's family who grew up in Melkefoss. The guesthouse has a cozy living/dining room that all guests share. There is a coffee maker and kettle available 24/7. There is no open kitchen for our guests to use – all meals should be pre-ordered. We are a small business and therefore cannot promise that we can serve food and food preferences without these being pre-ordered. It is possible to book meals, sauna and other experiences during your stay at BIRK. Birk also offers cabin rentals, dog sledding, local food and other activities.
