It is recommended to book the guided tour in advance, but it is also possible to purchase it upon arrival.
Packing tips:
DAY PACK TIP 1:
12:30 Andersgrotta, bomb shelter from World War II, (150 m from Scandic), pay at the entrance (300 NOK for entrance to the cave). Travel directly from there to Snowhotel Kirkenes with the guide/driver.
13:00 Travel to Snowhotel Kirkenes and book a Snowhotel 365 guided tour or entrance ticket.
14:30 Lunch in Snowhotel Kirkenes' beautiful restaurant with a fjord view.
15:30 Return to Kirkenes.
DAY PACK TIP 2:
15:50 Transport to Snowhotel, visit Snowhotel and their park with dogs and reindeer.
From 5:00 PM Á la carte dinner in their restaurant (Snowhotel ticket included if you have reserved a table).
