Bugøynes (Pykeijä) is a small fishing village in Northern Norway. The charming village is a very small place, located on the headland between Bugøyfjord and Varangerfjorden. It has only 180 inhabitants, and most of the villagers are of Finnish descent. That is why the village is also called Little Finland or the Finnish name Pykeijä. The village is known as a scenic destination where you can take a sauna and swim in the Barents Sea, fish and hike, experience king crab safaris and also eat the famous king crab.
